Some new releases feature the "Estate" designation.  The SCM designated wines have long been exclusively sourced from Monte Bello ridge fruit, but have included non-Ridge owned vineyards.  The "Estate" wines are from 100% Ridge owned vineyards, so there is a differentiation and it's not just an arbitrary change.  One could argue, then, that these are not the same exact lineage as precedent vintages.  But it really depends on a few unanswered questions, as what is being done with the non-estate grapes?  With Chardonnay, this change comes with the '06 vintage.  There is an '06 Estate and an '06 Mikulaco.  Perhaps that's the only non-Estate Chard up there?
