In the spirit of polishing loose ends from all of the recently added content channels, I have just updated the barcode printing on CellarTracke/GrapeStories with a number of new and some very highly requested items: - All of the more recent channels (which include scores) can now have their scores and drinking windows printed. This includes Champagne Warrior, PinotReport, Winedoctor, The Rhone Report, World of Fine Wine, Sommelier Journal and the New York Cork Report. (For whatever reason even though I had added some of these channels a year ago I had missed the barcode printing.
- At long last, you now have the choice to print the CellarTracker community score (this is the mean in most cases but is the media in the case where the mean and media differ by more than 1.5 points).
- You can also now print your own personal scoring range.
- And since some of these are volatile I also added an optional "date printed" field to the label.
Since there are potentially so many scores that might print (I have as many as 7 scores on some of my wines) I upgraded the label rendering code to append multiple scores onto the same line with comma separators. The line-breaking in the Dymo engine is somewhat nonexistent, so I do my own linebreaking at 38 characters. This seems to yield good results. Of course any/all of this can be turned off or tuned on the Label Settings page. As always, I highly recommend visiting the FAQ: http://www.cellartracker.com/ow.asp?BarcodeProcedures
