Hi, I recently upgraded from iPhone 8 to iPhone 14 and with the new phone it is very challenging to scan the barcodes. With my iPhone 8 the scan (both barcode and QR code) was very quick. Is there a setting that i should be reviewing?

Yes, the dual camera has broken the ability for our app to focus properly (and thousands of other apps that rely in the same 3rd party scanning library), and there is no easy workaround.

We are working on a totally new app on a new technology stack, and we will be able to fix this there. Sometime later this year.

Thanks Eric, was sure it was operator error on my part. I will use my iPad until the fix is in place

It isn't really operator error. Just Apple error. And in concept this should be something we can fix, but in Classic Apple fashion they broke thousands of apps along the way. (I am fighting fires like this on about 4 fronts.)

We JUST released version 1.8.1 of our iOS app which now can use the macro camera on iPhone 13+ Pro and Pro Max devices. Download the new version, and you should be all set.
