Odoardi Garrone Scavigna 2003 Excellent find at a small Italian restaurant in London. Smooth, velvety, some oak, vanilla, and smoke tastes but still with that underlying "earthiness" that I like so much in Italian wines. Modest tannins, medium finish and went nicely with the variety of pasta dishes. Good value at $55. We were happy enough with the first bottle to order another.
