Well the folks at the World of Fine Wine (www.finewinemag.com) have done it again. This is an AMAZING quarterly publication, so rich and deep that each issue is like a reference book.)

Yes, CellarTracker is great, and ahead of all others. However, I do like the structured tasting notes from Warpa. Eric, you migth comtemplate implementing something like that, as an option.

Never seen Warpa, but I'm curious, what are "structured tasting notes"?

I just looked at Warpa and don't think I would care for the "structured tasting notes", if I was interpreting them correctly.. That's one of the wonderful (one of MANY wonderful) things about CellarTracker, is the freeform expression in its user's tasting notes.. You get the character and emotion of the drinker vs a cold calculation and isn't that what wine tasting is all about?

BTW, got distracted by Warpa and forgot to include what I originally intended in this post.. Well done again, Eric!  It will be very interesting to continue to watch the proliferation of CellarTracker as it gains more and more users, more and more wine inventories and more and more tasting notes!  Your vision is truly appreciated...

I've just checked out the Warpa web site - it is a great lesson in counter-intuitive design.  No idea what is going on there.

Structured tasting notes sounds a little fascist to me. No way some of the posts that we have been extracting on the "tasting notes to note" thread will pass muster.
