Moving this up to the top again.

After doing an inventory (by no means complete since most have not declared), we have a dearth of sparklers, Pinot Noir, Syrah (especially French).

Keep 'em coming (if you wish). I'll put out a list closer to the events if I can develop a list that might seem as if it will allow us to drink our fill.  We probably will set up the wines on 5-6 tables loosely based on color, varietal, or style.

We have more posts to bump this up than we have with declarations.  I think the weekend will be one giant surprise and a whole lotta fun.

This thread had slipped to page 3.  Maybe someone else will see it between now and the event.

One last time, to the top.  I am out of here Wednesday morning.  See you all in Seattle.

Just for the official record, I'll definitely be bringing the following wines:
  • Domaine Serene 2005 Two Barns Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley, Oregon) -- Likely for Friday
  • Rockblock 2005 Seven Hills Vineyard Syrah (Walla Walla Valley, Oregon) -- Likely for Saturday
I may still bring another bottle or two, but it depends on how much room is left in the car. :)  I'll be heading up from Portland with "Vino Mezzaluna" and I'm sure we'll see his bottle selections in another post soon.

Thanks VA.  As one who has tasted few Washington wines, I am ecstatic that so many will be represented.  Who knows, I may be converted.

Thanks, I'll add it to the list and post it up again tonight.

We managed to squeeze a couple of extra bottles in the luggage so for Friday we will be bringing:

2004 Concha y Toro Cabernet Sauvignon Don Melchor
2005 Melville Pinot Noir "High Density"

Sounds great!

Now that we know what we'll be eating, I think I am going to change my Friday red.  I was going to bring a red Burg, but I'm afraid it will be overpowered by all your high-octane Cali Pinots.  Instead I am going to bring 2005 La Spinetta Barbara D'Alba Gallina  http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=393923  I now feel guilty I advised mjobtx against the Brunello.
