The human mind is wonderfully programmed:
Old is those guys, older than you:
And always will be.
Hence I will never be old :)

I always love it when my 85 yr old patients refuse to go to the local senior center because "everyone there is old."

As Gertrude Stein says, "You are always the same age on the inside."

Far be it for me to point at anyone here.  1962

Is that the Colonel's year of birth?  For kicks, I just googled him and all I got was H. Ross Perot, and I know he wasn't born in 1962.

Rating the Beaucastel was tough for me.  I think I expected more out of it then what I got.  I've had a lot of CdP lately at many different price points and where this fits in, it just doesn't fit in (if that makes any sense).

I found it tough to rate as well. I thought it was clearly a good wine, but super tight and shut down.

Naw, I was just pointing the finger at myself.  I guess I'm in Old Goat range before moving on to Old Codger.

Holy crap!  Are you old enough to drink?

I feel ancient now and I thought I was doing well born in 1970.  Now I just feel like a dirty old man.

well, you got the dirty part right ... so cliche, but so true: you're only as old as you feel.  I swear I feel younger now than I did in some of my teenage years ...

one of my primary goals in life is to get old ... consider the alternative

and, in my profession, the older you are the more you are respected = the more you get paid ... so, in a really sick way, I'm almost looking forward to losing/graying hair  ... no, not all of me is looking forward to that, just the financially greedy part.

No I'm definitely not H. Ross Perot,
nor John Hume Ross or T E Shaw,
and I wasn't born in 1962 or 1888.

It is amazing what turns up when one googles an individual.   Somehow I can't picture Ross Perot living in Dubai, though I imagine the weather has some resemblance to Texas.
