Hey, some people get a kick out jumping off bridges with a rubber band tied to their feet, or driving their BMW at 200 mph down a highway, or discussing the deeper meanings of modern art! (etc etc) Why not think about the deeper meanings of wine in a movie?!

You know, it could well be that the writers did not think of anything like that at all, and just tried to cobble together as many famous wine names and wine references after taking a 101 class.

Niklas is correct.  Listening to us!!!!

Do any of us have girlfriends?  Or are we really just sad wine geeks.  It sounds like we are geeks.

Sadly, my wife won't let me have a girlfriend.

We are definitely not meeting again the next time I'm in London. Or SF.

These are the TN I miss out on by primarily drinking French wine.  I should incorporate more full bodied Zin into my repertoire.

Careful for what you wish Craig;  I'll bet you'll be disappointed in full bodied Zins. But if I'm wrong, there's a host of Turleys and Martinellis here if you're ever in the area!

Ha, Ha, you're right--those full bodied Zins are not for me...

I was at a hotel conference meeting this week and one of the weekly "perks" at this hotel was a free wine tasting. Strong !. But the tasting didn't start until 5:00pm and I noticed the wine sitting beside a window in direct sunlight @ 1:00pm!!!! After leaving my meeting @ 6:00pm I passed the tasting and the bottles were in the same spot. Might as well been pouring into styrofoam cups with a lid.

I made mention to hotel staff but was shrugged off!!! WAWW!!!!
