when I am in Paris I drive a real car    I wont change what I like to drive while I am in Europe............either a Cadillac Escalade or a Mercedes SUV.  The gas is expensive but the looks of the faces of the French on the Champs l'Elysee is priceless when we park and come into their cafe.

I want to walk into a bar in Nebraska wearing a beret and ask for a little glass of red wine.  French red wine.  I wonder how long I would last?

I've got clients in North Dakota, Nebraska, and in fact many of the "Red States". Without being political here, I just want to point out the sad observation that the QPR of wine available in any given state appears to be directly proportional to the number of Electoral Votes each state has. Sad when you can get nice cuts of beef, yet not a good wash to go with it...

I was quite surprised to find this one in ND though, it was in the markdown bin because "no one liked they couldn't read the label".

Having no British cars left (there may actually be a guy in Bristol making 3 a year but I can't be sure) I have to agree the Germans make fine (if somewhat expensive cars).
A Toureag for Arabia (what else),
and an Audi S4 for the UK (20K more for the RS4 just wasn't on for the time I'll use it).

I have an Aston Martin disguised as a beat up Vectra.  Perfect for south east London.

The car of choice for any self respecting resident of south east London......and one that I am sure PBM would love.

And Colonel - what the hell was that car you posted above?  It certainly looks nothing like mine.

I was toying with the idea of getting a nice Audi but then realised that no car last more than 2 minutes in London without some form of damage.

Believe me, if I lived anywhere near downtown London (or any other major city) I wouldn't be driving an Audi -- at least not one from this century.

Oh, for crying out loud, add some Italian Passion to your life...

Sure, it will break down on you once or twice a year, but who cares...

It's a Vauxhall of course (with some Aussie genes).
Like adding some Shiraz to your Merlot?

I see you can run British cars on surplus English wine.
