Bravo!  Encore!  One of the most entertaining threads I have seen in a long time.

This thread reminded me of the "microwaving  your wine" experiment I did for Serge a few years ago.

I have a bottle of this same wine i was browsing around the net to see if this wine had any value or just to see how it was. i looked and looked and this forum was about the only place i could fine this particular wine. The only difference in the bottle i have and the bottle you have shown here  is that my bottle has the picture of the house stamped with gold letters and not black. Im sure that has no significance but i thought i would add that. I am relatively new to the wine world and im just trying to learn as much as i possibly can right now. so does this bottle have any value? also i have an 89 german judwig herf bottle that i would like to learn about cause i cant find that anywhere on the net but i guess i could post a whole new thread for that .. well thanks in advance guys for any of the help and or advice you guys give and i look forward to getting to know some of you better.

Welcome, victor!

This is very funny to hear about your bottle!  I am confident that your bottle holds no value as 'wine', despite my finding those in my possession less than lethal.  In truth I accommodated myself to the tasting, but poured out at least 23 ounces, as well as the other 3 bottles.  If your bottle has sentimental value, well there you are.  You might call the winery and see if they are looking for an example for their museum, if they have such things, I admit I did not.  Re. your German wine, I cannot comment, perhaps another member can be of assistance.

I have a bottle of the '02.  It was left by the previous owners of my house when they moved out.  I wonder if that has held up as well.  I'll have to open it up in 4 years or so...I also have a bottle of '03 Geyser Peak Suvignon Blanc if the Beringer doesn't pan out.
