Eric -> Official editorial helper! (4/11/2005 8:38:37 AM)

I am pleased to say that Andrew Hall will officially be helping me to get and keep the wine database clean, so if he has questions you may see an occasional email or reply from him here. He will be chipping away 10-20 hours per week as his schedule permits. So please give him a nice, warm welcome!

Welcome! Eric has been doing a great job, but I'm sure there is quite a lot to do with so much in the database. Look forward to seeing you around here.

Andrew:

Welcome. And, my bad... I entered a wine called Goundrey Offspring Shiraz (a nice house pour, house pour being under $10), but misspelled it as Groundrey. Sorry. I apparently did the same thing last year with the Goundrey Cabernet, so there are two of those as well.

Tony, got 'em.

Hi Eric,
we've spoken before as italian_lover, but a glitch in passwords changed my moinker.  Anyway, there is a duplication in the system under UPC 839183000183.  Frescobalbaldi Remole Toscana's are all 1GTs and are all wonderful undiscovered super T's from '04 @ '05.  Just between us italian freaks.  Within 2 years these will be unavailable and sold out.  -Dave

OK, I merged up the wines. The UPC is duplicated on several vintages. I am not sure if that is a CellarTracker-specific error OR a real life issue with the importer using the same UPC across many vitntages. Sadly it happens all the time (the real life error), and there is no real way for me to know which it is.

Welcome aboard, Andrew!

I just added my allocation of Hundred Acre Ark Vineyard and noticed that we have three entries for the same wine.  This is the first vintage for this vineyard designation from Hundred Acre and I'm sure folks are uncertain what to call it.  If you could aggregate into one entry, that would be great.

He he, Andrew has been doing this for 3 years now.

I merged all of these together.

Scarey I remember him coming on board - time flies when you're having fun.

These 2 wines seem to be the same
Foley Estates Pinot Noir Clone 115 Rancho Santa Rosa
Foley Estates Pinot Noir Clone 115 Santa Rita Hills

I've noticed that Garagiste seems to be noted as the supplying merchant in a number of different spellings. Garagiste (correct), Garagista (not), Garageiste (not). Seems like JR might not getting the credit for bringing in some pretty good wines.

JohnNezlek -> RE: Official editorial helper! (7/27/2008 6:46:47 AM)

Dear Eric,

FYI. Seems as if there are a lot of entries for:
1998 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La CrauJohn

JohnNezlek -> RE: Official editorial helper! (7/31/2008 8:56:39 AM)

Dear Eric,

The entries for Buller Muscat are a mess (uncharacteristically). Same wines described as red and white and from different regions. I think your editorial intervention is neded.

Cheers,

John
