Per the CIVL web site, "The Coteaux du Languedoc appellation was replaced in May 2007 by the Languedoc AOC." That would mean that with the 2007 vintage, there should be no more Coteaux du Languedoc. However, the "sub-appellations" (La Clape, Pic Saint Loup, Terrasses du Larzac, etc.) remain the same. I guess the format here in CT, given only three levels of taxonomy beneath "Country," would have to go to (for example): France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Les Terrasses du Larzac (which is what T du L was a bit over a year ago, though others like Pic St Loup included "Coteaux du Languedoc" in the Appellation. I suspect a note similar to that given for Fronton (nee CĂ´tes du Frontonnais) might be in order if you want to avoid confusion after the change is made. Byron
