Whew, it has been a while since I checked in any features. I guess that is what two weeks of traveling will do. This checkin is a whopper and one that I am very excited about. ADD/EDIT WINE In the face of growing concerns over performance, I did a significant rewrite of the page for adding and editing a wine. The page now does more 'tunneling' to let you edit each field in a wine, and these drilldowns are filtered more aggressively. For example, when editing a German wine, the list of vineyards is filtered to show just the vineyards from the specific region in Germany. In general the user interface is a lot cleaner with checkboxes for making some fields blank, for specifying a non-vintage wine etc. I also added a little palate of extended characters which you can copy from. Lots of polish here. MISCELLANEOUS (1) I added "had at a tasting" to the list of consumption types. (2) I added a wine type for "Fruit/Vegetable Wine" and segregated all of the appropriate varietals. There is also a new (somewhat silly) icon for these. (3) I fixed some linewrapping errors on the homepahe when viewed on a PocketPC or PalmPilot. (4) I fixed a typo that made some bogus links on the quarterly consumption summary.
