For barcode users, I added a few more ways to make use of a barcode scanner. BULK SCANNING v2.5.8 (1) I expanded the bulk-scanning page to allow bulk consumption. For example, you can scan the CellarTracker barcodes from 6 bottles and then mark them as consumed all at the same time. (2) I added more robust validation to make it less likely to have the page choke (e.g. by scanning a UPC when the page expects a barcode in the CellarTracker inventory namespace). (3) The page now displays the wine name of the last bottle scanner or an error if it rejected the input. (4) I added a page with a multi-line input control. This is ideal if your scanner supports an offline mode with some sort of batch output or replay. It is also useful if you want to scan VERY quickly without waiting for the page to refresh. Just scan into the multiline control and then click a button to generate the list of individual bottles. You can jump back and forth between these pretty easily as well. PRINTED REPORTS v2.5.8 I also added an option to always suppress the locale info for the printed reports. (One user is using in this conjunction with the alphabetic report option to generate simple lists to store on their PDA.) PRINTED REPORTS v2.5.7 After two user requests in three days, I added an option for a simple, alphabetic printed report.
