v 3.10.2 The main feature on tap in this release is a bit high-end but very essential for some folks who manage multiple CellarTracker accounts. Now users can establish one or more "Cellar Arrangers" associated with their account. A Cellar Arranger is another CellarTracker user. Once you grant them this status, they are one click away from being able to 'impersonate' you. This means they can log in to your account and do pretty much ANYTHING they want (except for tunneling to other Cellar Arrangers or editing the list of Cellar Arrangers. I figured that recursive cellar arranging was a recipe for utter confusion...) Anyway, if you currently manage multiple accounts or share an account with some friends or find yourself logging in and out of multiple CellarTracker accounts, well then THIS is a feature that will make your life easier. Basically, just browse to the user you want to grant Cellar Arranger access, click on their handle to get to their page, and then click the link to give them Cellar Arranger status. You will get an extra prompt, as this is obviously a rather weighty decision. Meanwhile, if you click BUDDIES at the top of the screen, then you will see a list of users who have given you Cellar Arranger status. Just click on a handle to 'impersonate' that user. Use the extra banner at the top of the screen to go back to your normal mode. One thing of note: transactions that you commit while 'impersonating' another user show a "dual" audit trail. So for example, if I was a cellar arranger for "Jason" then the transaction that would appear would be attributed to "Jason" except just after it would be (by "Eric"). This by the way will also now appear when I do any kind of administrative edit in any user's account (editing tasting notes, moving tasting notes to consumption notes etc.) Enjoy!
