Trying to add a new (old) wine: Alfred Ratz, 1988 Madchentraube Beerenauslese, Rust, Burgenland, Austria.

Unfortunately, the best varietal match in Cellar Tracker is available is Feteasca Alba.

Apparantly Feteasca (Romanian), Leanyka (Hungarian), and Madchentraube (German) [accents omitted] are all the same varietal.(For instance, see http://www.winepros.com.au/jsp/cda/reference/oxford_entry.jsp?entry_id=1865, the Oxford Companian to Wine entry on Madchentraube).

The label on this bottle includes both the German Madchentraube and, in parentheses, the Hungarian Leanyka. However, I had to resort to adding the wine with the Feteasca varietel name.

I'm new to Cellar Tracker and this forum. What's involved in getting these varietal synonyms added?

Sorry, link in previous post doesn't work. Here's a bit on the varietal(s) copied from epicurious.com:
Leányka
[LAY-ahn-kyah]
White wine grape planted in Hungary, Rumania (where it's known as Feteasca and Mädchentraube), and surrounding areas. The name translates into something on the order of "young girlish," presumably alluding to the wine's soft, delicate traits. Leanyka wines have AROMATIC, SPICY, and apricot characteristics reminiscent of a GEWÜRZTRAMINER-MUSCAT combination. Most are vinified medium-sweet to medium-DRY. Although viewed as a wine that could be AGED, Leányka's moderate ACIDITY generally limits that time to only 2 to 4 years.

Browsing through the varietals available for creating wines it appears that the three alternates could be listed under one master entry and the two synonyms, something like:
Feteasca
Leányka [Feteasca]
Mädchentraube [Feteasca]

Thanks. Minor issue: Mädchentraube has an a-umlaut.
