needs a little bit of decant i think overall its youthful and needs more side ways time to develop, its very plushy in the fruit profile with like a watermelon cherry rind thing going on,

3/13/2014 8:34:00 AM - the 2012 i would say minimum a year as its just recently released/bottled i think so it needs to settle a bit after that then id go back to it again and try myself, it felt a little disjointed in the sense the blend was not harmonious together yet, you could taste the syrah the grencache etc differently

What is there to say, it is 'youthful' lots of people would of said I drank this too young, but I look at the price I paid I expect it to show when I drink it

French, tasty lots of acidity and red fruit, would like too see it in 10years

I have an earlier note that was pretty unflattering and an admonition to reserve judgment. So I waited a few months. And this is pretty darn good though is it time or bottle variation or something just off in one bottle, I do not know. Regardless, this is nice stuff. A cranberry/rhubarb vivid red fruit flavor, long finish, good balance. Way better the second night. Quite tasty.

A treat to drink. Classic WA state cab with sensible alcohols (~13%) Believe it or not this still has maybe another 3-5yrs left in it. Mature fruit with tertiary flavors - leather, tobacco, coffee, and a tad of barnyard funk.

Took a good 45min to open up savory with a dark fruit core nice floral lavander note. on the palate has that bitterness of a Northern Rhone Syrah, and even has that youthful taste it and this needs like 10years

DAY 2, Opened up a bit, softened but still youthful, still reminds me of a nothern rhone, just needs the age to mellow n relax this baby

This bottle was disappointing: I can deal with the animal notes but it seemed volatile and unbalanced. I guess that is the risk of buying natural wines...
This was the "S" version but I guess that they use just a minimal amount so it is hard to have a consistent purity in each bottle. My other bottles were great despite the animal tones.

Too extracted and modern for a Margaux in my taste. Turns to plum jam, cooked berries and fruit compote pretty quickly. Flavour on the other hand is a bit thin. It's certainly drinkable if you're not beeing overly critical but it lacks all of the elegance I expect in a classified Margaux.

Light garnet colour. Pretty nose - undergrowth, mushrooms and red berries. The palate is balanced, but it was initially dominated by woody, greenness that I didn't like, but this went away with about an hour of air. Nice wine. I am optimistic about its potential to age. I had the 2006 of this wine at the 5 year mark and it was going strong. Looking forward to dipping into the rest of my supply over the next several years.

Good stuff. This was darker and more intense than the St. Joseph, with a homeopathic dose of brett, just a small hint of the barnyard that added to the package.

Best Blue Mtn I have ever had and its still a baby. Wonderful nose of cherry, spice. Fine grained tannins, the oak was used to perfection and it had a smooth long finish. Soft, round and a hint of creamy fruit. This should age very nice over the next few years.

Red fruits, Bacon, animal, pebber, spicy. True Syrah and Nothern Rhone character. Medium bodied and rather soft and maybe laking a little bite and structure to be truely great. But certainly very good and went well with a sirloin dear steak in bordelaise sauce.
