Medium brown to deep amber colour. Nose comes through as quite hot, with elements of dried fruit, saline nuttiness and spice. Taste is quite sweet, with notes of caramel, yellow raisins, dried citrus peel, bitter nuts. Medium high acid bring balance. VG++, and extraordinary for the value.

Coravined. Very Palo Cortado and Vin Jaune like, but with a bit more raisiny. Warming alcohol, slightly bitter. Interesting, but not exciting.

Translucent nutty brown with slightly coppery red hue. Very complex, nuanced and obviously oxidative nose with attractive aromas of raisins, bruised apple, dried figs, lemon peel, some roasted nuts and hints of honey. Even though the wine is not particularly high in acidity whereas it has rather high residual sugar (100 g/l), it doesn't feel as sweet as one might expect it to be, thanks to the robust, oxidative character. Powerful flavors of dried figs, oxidative nuttiness, orange peel and hints of dry, savory wood and a touch of sweet maple syrup. The finish is long, very complex and surprisingly dry with flavors of bruised apple, coffee grounds, roasted nuts, some almonds and a hint of exotic spices that take a turn to bitterness towards the end of the aftertaste.

Quite straightforward and even a bit robust effort, yet full of depth and character. The nutty and slightly tangy oxidative character gives the wine tremendous structure keeping it from tasting too sweet. Not the most elegant Marsala, but at 15,73€ for a full bottle, this wine shows great value. Terrific!

Doft av karamell, nöt, russin och lite vanilj.
Elegant smak av karamell, nötter, kanel, russin, vanilj och lite sirap. God till kladdkaka.

Very balanced, very elegant, predominantly nutty and a touch oxidative, this is not very sweet at all. Best as an aperitif, not as an accompaniment to sweet desserts. A fine example.

Clear, medium brown colour with dense legs. Clean medium intensity fully developed nose with notes of raisins, dried figs and caramel. Medium-sweet, low acidity, low rough tannins, low warm alcohol (for a fortified), medium+ body and medium intensity flavours of caramel, raisins and dried figs. Medium finish. Acceptable quality wine, very simple in the nose with an austere sweetness, it has not enouqh intensity of flavours to balance the alcohol.

First meeting with the Zibibbo grape. Does not resemble any sweet wine I ever had before. Oxidized, semi sweet wine with balanced acids and a light to medium body.
Cloud berries, as in jam or liqueur. Trocadero (soda pop) galore, tangerines and sweet boiled goat cheese (mese/messmör).
To my palate both unusual and quite wonderful. A print your t-shirt "I had it" kind of wine.
If oxidised low-body semi-sweet wines are your thing, than this is surely a 90+. If not, than this may be as low as 75p.

Mahogany.
Raisiny dried fruit nose with some orange tang. Malt, brownie-like chocolate, charcoal and a touch of alcohol.
Fullbodied and sweet dried fruit palate with raisin and dried fig notes and again some citrusy brightness to the fruit. Charcoal and chocolate. Lengthy finish.
Nothing too complex or flamboyant, but rather nice rusticity and balance. Definitely feels drier than it might with 100 g/l sugar in it.
