4/15/2024 - markcic Likes this wine: 93 pointsSimilar to the bottle I had a year and a half ago. The nose is floral with hints of orchard fruit. The palate is apple and hints of citrus and a touch of oak leading to a nice long finish. |

4/13/2024 - markcic Likes this wine: 94 pointsOver two years since my last bottle and this bottle was singing. Opened two and a half hours prior to dinner. The nose was red fruit and roses. The palate was dark cherry, hints currans, raspberry and a touch of spice all in harmony. The finish was long and brought out the roses and hibiscus. Served with oven roasted salmon which was the same dish and recipe that I used last time. |

4/2/2024 - webbaker Likes this wine: 95 pointsI was surprised by this wine as I’m not a big fan of the 100% Cab Franc. This wine was quite stunning, gobs of big, bright fruit flavors. More intense than I expected, though not a ton of depth. I can easily see why this wine blends so well with the other Hobbs Cabernet wines. |

3/29/2024 - jdrosen Likes this wine: 92 pointsGreat example of a classic Napa cab. Full bodied, intense fruit with strong oak, tobacco and hint of vanilla. Strong tannin through the finish which brings out graphite. Medium length finish, medium/high complexity. Went very well with hard cheese. |

3/27/2024 - CV Griz Fan Likes this wine: 94 pointsGood nose of red fruit and spice upfront. This is a nice smokey and dense Pinot. The taste profile is good. Along with the red fruit, I pick up tobacco, forest floor and a nice mineral element. The structure is pretty firm and balanced and the finish is excellent… |

3/25/2024 - sjfunkenhauser wrote: 90 pointsStill very primary, with very little development. Needed some air to temper the acidity and for everything to come together. PnP felt a bit disjoint. Red fruit, a bit of ripeness but not overboard, cola, spice and dried herbs. I'd give this a few more years before opening another. |

3/23/2024 - advinm41 Likes this wine: 94 pointsGood California Cab, no decant complex nose of cassis, cherries, blueberries, mulberries, licorice and herbs. Palate has sweet rich tannins, black and blue fruit and long mouth-coating finish |

3/23/2024 - BradleyL wrote: 90 pointsLast wine of the Paul Hobbs Around the World at Mission Wines. Relatively lighter extraction compared to some of his other Napa products, and slightly higher acid - I think having to do with the larger temperature changes and relatively lower temperatures here than in Napa (allowing for a lengthier ripening process). This is not as silky as the Malbec but the fruit is slightly more pronounced. The finish is quite short and there is not a whole lot of complexity in this wine. I think it is hard to quantify most Napa Cabs within a QPR bucket at this point, but this bottle feels like it is in a weird spot - pricey enough to have some sort of expectations, but not quite there given the price. I would rather spend more to get some of his other single vineyard Cabernets, or I would rather just drop the price and get a Crossbarn Pinot Noir. |

3/23/2024 - BradleyL Likes this wine: 90 pointsTasted at the Paul Hobbs Around the World at Mission Wines. Much brighter and crisper than the Armenian white in the flight - lightly oaked, but a very classical cold climate Chardonnay. Very expressive finish, notes of yuzu and minerality. This has a fairly concentrated palate and complexity. That being said, at this price point there are quite a lot of options for Russian Rivers Chardonnay. |

Served with crusted boursin cheese appetizer and people raved about the combination. Drink it sooner rather than later. Wish I had more. |
