All the Pauillac tasting notes that I expect from that region. Nose of Grandma's attic (if you know what I mean) and Tobacco vanilla on the palette with dark fruit. Love the 2000 Bordeaux vintage. Drank along side an 03 Poyferre and though does not have the weight or exact flavor profile, it has the balance and bouquet to be a blockbuster (+QPR). Enjoy now with a long decant. but hold if you only have one. |
