Great fruit, decent bit of citrus and nice acidity. Notes of kiwi on the finish.

Fresh cut lawn, green melons, light lemon citrus and stainless steel show on the nose. Nice weighted palate, some salty green melons show, some other green fruits, granny smith apples possibly, ends slightly grassy and salty. Doesn't stick around long on the finish, it leaves some of that grassiness for a bit. Kinda wishing there was more acidity on this, there is enough but the flavor overpowers it in places. A tasty wine for sure, not something I will reach for again but an interesting style.

The acidity is pretty mediocre for a sauv blanc but this is still drinking nicely. This is the second bottle I have found on deep discount, it's a great value in the sub-$10 price range. Honestly I wouldn't be upset if I paid more, this is nice wine.

This bottle was a very nice surprise. I had tasted this years ago and didn't think much of it remembering it to be very unbalanced with sharp/bitter acid. Stumbled upon a bottle in the racks and thought it was time for another go. This has turned a corner and the rough edges have smoothed out nicely. Good acid and great weight. Not changing my life, but good.

Wife says "sharp", I think it's very good but doesn't have as much flavor to take it to a premium level for me. That said, it's really very good

Significant development in last six months. Initial mouth feel is cool with following jamminess and agreeable tannins which should make this good for another three years

The wine is pretty good. Nice nose of cherry fruit, lots of herbs and savory complexity. Medium to full bodied on the palate, reasonably well balanced with nice acidity to balance the sweeter fruit, again savory herbs, hint of green, slightly sour cherry edge, perhaps a bit on the sappy side for the finish. Overall an interesting wine, but one I would probably be mostly likely to serve to my "less sophisticated" guest. Lots of fruit - it just doesn't seem to come together for any great flavor.

Dark fruit and mocha. Good but not a great QPR compared to similar cab-syrahs I have had from Mark Ryan and J Bookwalter.

Cedar, some spice on nose. Huge amounts of pepper, firm tannins linger and fill the mouth

A complex wine, much more than I'm used to in a Chardonnay. I shouldn't have been surprised, though, Efeste is one of my favorite wineries, everything they produce jumps to the top of my lists. Has a nice light gold color. It smells like Granny Smith apples, with hints of grass, and some mint. Lots of fruits like lemon and pear; plus some mineral, honeysuckle, and a touch of oak.

Drank to 2010 and 2011 side by side. Remarkably similar - both very good. The '10 definitely needed time to open up aromatics and flavor profile, but an hour in was clearly more complex and well integrated - a bigger wine with more fruit.

Amber in color and throwing just a touch of sediment. 13.4% ABV. The nose is all about slate, flowers and key lime. Pineapple, butterscotch and lemon on the palate. Clearly new world with a dose of butter and oak. What sets this wine apart from many Washington Chardonnays is the great acidity. Drink over the next year or so. $28 at the winery.

Lovely unoaked Chardonnay. Good body with just a little creaminess. Enough acid to provide decent finish. Perfect with Chicken Piccata

Amazing bottle of wine from a tough year. Loads of zing on the palette followed by notes of apple, pear, melon and citrus. Crisp finish to say the least. Could drink this all Summer long. It was made by Brennan Leighton so I should not be surprised. Excellent from first sip to last.

Lightly floral nose. Tart and sour apple with medium plus acidity. Passable but not great and there are better examples for an Andrew Jackson.
