9/8/2021 - yodamark Likes this wine: 94 points65 was a great Hunter vintage and despite this wine not being in the class of Lindemans Bin 3110 or Draytons Bin 51 this was still a lovely drop. Very Hunter with typical 65 vintage smokey bacon, meat, leather and spicy red fruit. overlaid by typical Pennys taste, some wood varnish and bitter chocolate. Medium bodied in the mouth and still with a lovely back palate sweetness. Tiring out and will not improve but still a nice wine. |
