1/5/2014 - jeffal66 Likes this wine: 93 pointsI could gulp this by the gallon but I like to think I'm more evolved than that. That said, this is a delicious blend of opulent, sweet, structured, acidic, mineral greatness. I love how it sizzles on the tongue as a million flavors play out. A good buy at $26, and I'll let my other bottle sit a few more years to see how it evolves. Flat gorgeous. |

11/9/2014 - jeffal66 Likes this wine: 92 pointsA true Euro take on the variety. Gobs of dark red fruit, garrigue, meat/blood, earth, leather, tobacco, veggies. Good intensity and a modicum of force. Great complexity. Exotic Syrah to the American palate, this is no BS excellence.

8/16/2016 - jeffal66 Likes this wine: NRSpicy, classic cherry-flavored Pinot. Great intensity, delicious, decidedly new(er) world presentation. Balance, length and some complexity. Acidity too. That and a flash of heat on the finish.
