Just a little bit oxidized but still very much alive. Developed and complex bouquet of earth mushrooms, violets, leather and touch of ripe red fruit. The tannins are still there but very softened. Nice bright acidity, and a long finish. We drank the wine in probably about an hour and it never died. What impressed me the most is that the wine had barely any sediments in the bottle. I will grade this wine 100, based on the wonderful experience: a 45 year old wine still holding up beautifully.

This reminds you why you fell in love with wine. Ripe black and red cherry, hay, mushrooms and animal on the nose. Ripe red and black fruit on the palate, very sour on the first attack, it transitions to a sweet mid palate of cinammon and clove due to the well integrated oak. It finishes very spicy ans vibrant with black pepper, mushrooms and all those secondary flavors typical of a good burgundy. Could feel the flavors for minutes on my palate. Deep color, very much alive, it might get better, but why wait? This was almos perfect.

This second bottle showed gorgeously. No signs of oxidation whatsoever. Plenty of fruit on the nose: ripe yellow apple, as well as citrus notes. Beautiful notes of honey with a touch of wax. A bit of a nice funk on the nose as well that reminded me of wild mushrooms. Ripe yellow apple on the palate, the acid is still high, alcohol so well integrated that is not noticed. The wine finishes incredibly long with a delicious honey/lemon flavor. Absolutely stunning White Burgundy; the kind that reminds you why you fell in love with wine in the first place

Deep color, still not faded, ripe blueberry, game, black pepper on the nose. Same notes confirmed on the palate. Soft tannins, nice acidity and a long spicy finish. This wine seems so youthful, it has all The depth I expect from a Syrah, really exceptional.

This was phenomenal. Blackberry, wet hay, black truffles, leather, pencil shavings and after 30 minutes, a lot of eucalyptus on the nose. Soft silky tannins, blackberry, cinnamon and eath on the palate. High acid that is still holding there. A long delicious cinnamon finish. I don't know that this wine is going to get better but I feel it will hold for another 5 years, but it is gorgeous right now. Almost no sediments.

This was phenomenal. Very weird in the first half hour. It seemed disjointed, acidic, with nothing else, but not oxidized, something I really hadn't tasted before. It started coming together after half hour. Beautifully aromas of dried plum, underripe blackberry, leather, wet asphalt (after the rain), pencil shavings and jalapeno. Same enormous complexity on the palate with a high acid, gripping still active but not aggressive tannins and a long pleasant sourish length. This was a really amazing experience. Is it gonna get better? Who am I to say? IF you have a bottle drink up now because it's pretty damn good as it is!!!!

High acid, flavors confirmed the palate with an initial almost sweet attack followed by the fruit flavors in the mid palate that slowly change into a slight bitter finish that lingers for a long time. Complex wine full of delicious contrasts. This wine is not ready yet to be drunk and it will evolve beautifully for at least another 10 years

Absolutely beautiful. Ripe peach, lemon, honey with a touch of petrol on the nose. Medium sweet, peach, lemon merengue, and honey on the palate, high acidity low alcohol and a long length. I am very impressed with this wine.

Very youthful, still very dark in color. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, leather and pencil shavings. After one hour, menthol notes started to appear. High acid, tannins were high but rond and palatable, could feel the sweet taste of american oak on the palate in a very nice way. Long finish. This wine will still get better but will provide a lot of fun now.

Beautiful, aromas of ripe black fruit with lots of secondary aromas: animal, mushrooms. Med + acid, medium tannins, red and black fruit on the palate with . Dusty and funky in a good way. Nice long finish. Really balanced and vibrant. This wine will hold for another 10 years.

Really nice, ripe red cherries as a background on the nose followed by intriguing aromas of earth, dry leaves, mushrooms and game. Nice high acidity with a sweet middle palate, medium body, this wine is not one of those thin Burgundies. Long length; finishing a bit sour. I found this wine to be very balanced and complex.

Great, Deep golden color, almost light brown. The nose showed honey, lemon merengue, ripe pear and caramel notes. Great acidity that counterbalanced the ripe fruit still abundant in the wine. Alcohol very well integrated. Long spicy finish. Awesome wine, seems at its peak right now.

The palate starts with a sweet chocolaty atack but it becomes dry on the mid palate and it finishes with a long spicy flavor resembling green peppers. high acidity and tannins with alcohol perfectly integrated. This wine will certainly get better in 5 years or so when the tannins and acid mellow out a bit. Extremely complex. I did not decant it and the wine would have benefited from it, had I done so.

Golden core with a pale straw rim. Really nice nose, youthful and intense aromas of citrus, very floral, lavender. The palate showed a very refreshing high acid, flavors of citrus and then a really nice stone fruit component that lingers on your palate. Well balanced, long length, great wine!!!

First one of a 12 year personal project. I'm going to taste 12 bottles throughout 12 years, always around christmas and notice the difference to try to understand better how wine develops. Im going to taste all bottles under the same conditions, no decanting.

Sight: Dark garnett core with a dark magenta rim
Nose: Ripe blackberry, cassis, plum as well. Some discreet green notes: green pepper, eucalyptus. Light notes of dark chocolate as well as graphite. The alcohol seems a bit high on the nose with that nail polisher aroma coming through.
Palate: High acidity, medium + tannins. Flavors of blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate,green and black pepper. The mid palate is very acidic but it finishes long and spicy, The alcohol is very well integrated and does not spike at all. The wine is tasting great right now. I'm curious to see how the acidity will develop, surprised that the tannins are at a considerable lower level than than the acidity at this point.

Long finish, mineral driven, wet stone-like. Delicious wine for those, like me, that like savory wines, it is green but with fruit to counterbalance. I suspect it will be phenomenal in 5 years.

Golden core with a translucid rim. Great nose, youthful aromas of peach, passion fruit, lemon, and wet stone, it's also quite grassy. It has an electric high acidity. Peach and passion fruit predominantly on the palate with citrus and green peppers on the back ground. Medium alcohol and medium + length. Delicious wine, very refreshing white. Great Vin de Pays, I think I would easily mistake it for a New Zealand Sauv Blanc if tasting blind, but awesome wine and great for the money!!!
