Blackberries, currant, and, yes, its high alcohol, but NO noticeable heat tonight. Had the new prawn dish, the vidalia onion soup, the sweetbreads (never had them in NY or SF as good), the classic beef tartare and the big eye tuna. Biale rocks, and zins are right up there with syrah for me as far as favorites. |

Multiple layers of tamed mountain fruit, minerality and excitement are present in each taste. I cant imaging this getting any better! Monte Rossi is a special place where age worthy Zinfandels are made. Keep a few in the cellar for eight to ten years and see what magic unfolds. |

Slight acidity makes for some tart berry sensations with very modest tannins that don't dry you out. Medium finish. This wine leaves you wanting more. |
