Incredible depth of flavors, so much fruit, nutty, herbal, rye bread, sunflower seeds... Zesty acidity, earthy, complex with similar notes as on nose, long finish, mind blowing champagne. Actually it's the classiest of his wines I have tasted On palate is very fresh, actually one of the freshes 1990 Champagnes that I have tried. But behind freshness and minerality where are lots of 1990 vintage rich and broad flavours. Incredible length. Needs lots of time to open up. 1/5 of the bottle left for next day was even better. Even it has some oxidize notes but both nose and palate are so complex and such a long aftertaste. Half point better then 1969 Bollinger. 96+ points Do you find this review helpful? White - Sparkling	1934 Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brut Vintage Champagne Blend more	Options Post a Comment View Clos & Cru's profile Report Issue 5/1/2012 - Clos & Cru Likes this wine: 95 points At Le Gavroche. 1972 release bottle to celebrate 200 years of Veuve Clicqout. apparently they had this bottle for many years, possibly since 1972. tasted in the line with 1964 Veuve and 1964 Moet. the color amber but lighter then 1964. on the nose very fresh, dry lemon zest, lemon grass, floral, fresh marzipan. on palate acidity was very fresh, I found a bit overpowering but still backed up with lovely nutty, earthy, zesty flavors. long finish. perfectly kept bottle, incredibly fresh but wine of the night 1964 Moet Do you find this review helpful? So complex, with layers and layers of complex aromas. Still full of energy and long length. Absolutely delicious! In 1998 Roederer did not make Cristal rose.
