A unique mouthfeel, tremendous fruit from an incredible site, and obviously the product of a winemaker who is willing to let a wine reveal itself without any significant manipulation! |

Definitely the "first growth" of the Southern Hemisphere. For me Grange is to Australia what Margaux is to Bordeaux, Gaja is to Piedmont, LeFlaive is to White Burgundy. Distinctive and magnificent! |

One of the terrific upper tier wines of Alban Vineyards it is a Rhone style wine of incredible depth, fruit, floral and mineral tones. I would consider it one of the finest Rhone style wines in the world. |

There are layers of subtle complexity. I regret that within two hours of opening it was gone. I would give it another 3-5 years of improvement, and then a long period of quality drinking. |
