To be honest i tell people that the Bard is my all time favorite wine so i shouldnt have been too surprised. This was so good and integrated, well balanced with plenty of fruit. I just wanted to let it sit there on my tongue. This ended up being the #1 wine of the evening with 7 friends. Opened about 5 cabs and this blew all others away. Unfortunatly, i only got to drink 1/8th of the bottle. On the brighter side i have five more bottles in the cellar. |

While the 2014, 2015, 2016 and of course 2017 are very good wines, they are shadows of the 2013. Maybe in time Realm will give in and add the Beckstoffer fruit into the Bard once again. |
