Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. #1; (by Ryan D); COLOR-dark; NOSE-very heavy dose of beautiful ripe black cherries, little Raid aspect; TASTE-Wow, this wine is off-the-charts, an obnoxious mouthfeel; an uncanny finish; everything you would look for in a beautiful red wine; this brings the thunder & the lightning; this is a absolutely perfect Italian Wine (Old World Style, but the fruit is so pure & rich, alcohol & tannins are integrated perfectly); obvious dark chocolate; hazelnut on the mid-palate; tannins are dry & firm; better than 85% of the Brunellos I've had in the last 24 months; I'd pay $100 for this wine; AG-92; GV-94 94 points |
