Deep colour but the nose and palate are offering up great stuff right now. Nose - minerals, earth, rich fruit - in the mouth great balance of deep, dark primary fruit but with a tangy, mineral follow through with excellent tannins - this wine has the depth to age for 10 years - probably needs 5 years to bed in a little but at this price you can afford to drink it young. Not as tight as you would imagine for a young wine but would benefit some cellar time. Very good. Buy buy buy. |

Anfangs wird die Nase nochvon der für Graves typischen Mineralität dominiert, dazu rotes Fleisch und Eisen, eine etwas undefinierte Frucht, entwickelt er nach ca. 20 Minuten ein fast schon burgundisches, feines Bouquet aus roten Beeren, Cassis, Erdbeere und ganz leichten floralen Noten. Sehr harmonisch am Gaumen, angenehme, leichte Säure, jetzt schon gut integriertes Tannin, mittlere Statur. Saubere, aber im Vergleich zur Nase etwas eindimensionale, rote Frucht, dafür jede Menge Graves-Terroir, schöner Abgang. Ein unkomplizierter, aber trotzdem eigenständiger Spasswein. |
