Time will tell whether the tannins soften before the fruit starts to fade. If so, this will be a very nice drink. I'd suggest this wine will still be very much alive and kicking in at least 8+ years. |

Bright red strawberry and raspberry, sweet and sour cherry, and some earthy iron notes. Refreshing acidity with solid length for the appellation. Tannins are powdery and fine. Probably a bit young to fully appreciates and I think it’ll be singing in another 5 years. Still, really pleasurable to drink now. |

Perfumed nose of sweet red berries, cherries, blood orange, some earth, and a lifted floral note that I can’t put my finger on. Really attractive. On the palate this is lithe and silky with fine integrated acidity providing excellent line and length. Tannins are resolving with a bit of grip remaining. First class for the appellation. Drink now or hold for 5 years. |
