Enjoyed this bottle, good weight and balance with classic PN flavours. More European in style than I was expecting.

Rich, fruiyt nose with bags of blueberries on the palate. Tannins softening nicely and acidity well balanced. Cloves and cassis on the long finish. Classic cedar and cigar flavours appeared after a couple of hours. This should develop further over the next couple of years.

Drinking very well indeed. Just a hint of tobacco and leather on the finish but showing just a tad hot. Very good value wine for ageing.

Really hitting its stride now. Maturing like a decent claret with cedar and tobacco flavours around the blackcurrant fruit. Plenty of life left yet.

Best bottle of this case to date. Developing some delicious mature flavours and finding some harmony that wasn't there previously. Will hang on to the remaining bottles and come back in a couple of years.

Delicious wine that is just finding its feet. Integrating well and full of dark fruit with a tomato edge. Good balance and smooth finish. Just lacks a bit of complexity.

I would rate this a litte higher than the previous taster although he's spot on with cherries and chocolate. It's all held together with a good level of tannic grip and the sugar levels are nicely in balance. A decent finish rounds of a very drinkable Amarone.

Oxford Chardonnay Session: Mineral, citrus nose. Ripe rich body with depth and supporting oak tannin. Quite simple fruit, peach. There's a bitterness on the finish that suggests lots of skin contact.

Much better bottle with a youthful nose of blackcurrants, medicinal herbs and earthiness. The palate is relatively simple, black fruits and a floral aspect with some bitter oak on the finish. Holds the 14.5% alcohol well.
