Tasted at Wine Chef Tony's dinner. This was the dessert wine -- went great with the pound cake. Not overly sweet - slight fizz. Very nice for $9. I think this was a PA - PLCB purchase - doesn't seem to show up anywhere else.

No Barrel age here, clean clear color. A touch of a sweet nose at times but firm and sharp on the palate without been heavy or overly strong. In many ways quite round but not as round and welcoming as its sibling the Grappa di bebiola da Barolo. Pretty expressive. Good.

Egg white pale color with persistent but few small bubbles. Lush and sweet nose, typical muscat blanc apg. lower edge with more grapey and light yeast scent and almost no floral, citrus, melon and spice. The first impression continue in a balanced flat grapey palate, not as dry as asti, a bit remembering to moscato d'asti, obviously a commercial decision to use more ripen grapes, thus much easier to drink, but less buzz and wow, just a sweet nice taste after dinner. Medium acidity does not contribute a lot on flavour, less than medium length, but right balance of alcohol and sugar. Do not age it in cellar, just drink it now for light desserts (colomba di pasqua, floating islands) or gift it to some not-so-important friends. ;)
The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lime, honeydew, melon and baker's yeast. It tastes like raisin, lychee and baker's yeast. The body is light. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

Green apple and floral nose. Almost an artificial floral smell like in soaps. Slightly viscous and sweet. Green apples flavors and a crisp but quick finish. Great summer wine.

An immediate hit of pear and smooth bubbles with a strong green apple flavour emerging theough the rest of the glass. While relatively sweet it has a robust flavour and isnt as much crisp as it is a fantastically enjoyable apperatif.

Tasting Training for WSET Level 4, Units D4 + D5 - Session 2: The wine has a pale lemon colour. The nose is of medium(+) intensity and shows aromas of grapes, citrus, light peach, and petrol.

On the palate the wine is sweet, with medium acidity, low alcohol and medium(-) body. The flavours are of pronounced intensity and mirror the aromas on the nose, i.e. show mostly primary characteristics of grapes, citrus, light peach, and petrol. The wine is not very petillant, the light mousse indicates low pressure and in combination with the high level of sweetness and only medium acidity makes the wine seem flat. The finish has medium(-) length.

This wine is of poor quality since it has a petroly off-aroma on the nose and palate, the low pressure and pétillance in combination with medium acidity but high sweetness make the wine seem flat and unbalanced, and the finish is short. To be considered being of acceptable quality the wine would need to be cleaner and to have greater length. The wine is supposed to be consumed now and not suitable for further ageing in bottle.

This non-vintage Moscato is a fun and spritzy white wine from Northern Italy's Lombardia province, where sun-soaked days and cool nights produce highly flavorful wines. This sweet and beautifully floral wine is ideal as an aperitif or with a delectable dessert.

Peach colour with very light bubbles. The nose is peach and apricot and flowers, on the palate the wine is medium bodied with a barely discernible spritz and medium sweet fruit of apricot, peach, with a gentle acidity on the finish. I've had better Moscato d'Asti but this is still very good.

Good example of moscato - which is great to start an evening with (think with something salty / savoury).

Bit too sweet (for me) and not something I want to keep drinking, except my better half will sit there and drink it all night.

also ... Low alcohol 5.5% - this is important to me because I take medication which may significantly increase my risk of liver damage. So low alcohol wine like this is great.

{cork, 5%} Showed very well, especially considering it's six years old and the cork appeared on the cusp of failure. Typical moscato showing - although seemed fractionally drier than I expected - but the extra years have added a honey quality to the flavours on the palate. Drank well with quiche, salad, muffins; I can scarcely think of anything else which could have done so. Top notch MdA.

Lively spritz, red fruit and pear drops. The palate is medium sweet, redcurrant fruit with a dose of sugar, nice acidity. Decent, a bit simple, but have enjoyed better from the moscato d'Asti stable.
