Deep purple and garnet color. Rich dark chocolate and ripe plum aromas and restrained oak. Rich chocolate, bing cherry and ripe plum on the palate too. Medium tannins and a soft long finish. Pretty well integrated flavors.

Strong dark fruit, blueberries, blackberry on nose. Vanilla, oak present.
good mouthfeel, smooth, slight spice on finish. Excellent wine, but perhaps a tad overpriced.

Quite drinkable and enjoyable at this point. Medium plus weight, smooth, mostly black, and some red fruits. Shows Paso Robles Cab notes, mild acidity, and not much tannin at the finish. An easy drinker that can be paired with salmon to various meats but not heavily smoked or grilled.

incredible fruit with well integrated oak that isn’t over powering, luscious mouthfeel with soft yet structured tannins. Really well balanced and hard to notice the high abv, glad to try now but can’t wait to open the next in a decade or so.

This wine is normally an 88 point type of wine. Solid but not great. I don’t know if it is just the perfect timing or other, but the flavor has exploded. Honestly, I could rate it higher than 94 but ithis wine normally isn’t this good. Wonderful right now.

Moderate plus color depth, with purplish to ruby core and high viscosity.

High aroma intensity, with red raspberry (both fresh and jammed), green bell pepper, and oak/spice present. Red fruits were dominant on nose.

Dry wine with a little bit of residual sugar, heavy bodied and high alcohol. Acid felt moderate and the alcohol did feel a little on the high side for me. Tannins moderate+ and dry. Flavors of raspberry, stewed cherries, plum, chocolate sauce, and fire-roasted vegetables. Oak much stronger on the palate.

Although not a style I typically seek out, an enjoyable wine that would do well to pair with food (rich meat) to let the body and alcohol loose.

Deep ruby in complexion. The nose is buoyed by spices especially clove, cardamom and bay leaves leading to raspberry and blackberry. The palate has weight and structure, the merlot speaks initially and then the Cabernet franc takes over at the end with its boldness. Smooth yet medium to full body, bright acidity and polished tannins. The finish is pleasant.

One of my favorites from Justin. The isosceles is incredible, and this is another wonderful French blend made in Paso Robles, that does the blend justice. Beautiful integrated fruit, well balanced and drinking now as good as it ever will, most likely.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), raspberry and black pepper. It tastes like raspberry, black currant (cassis), vanilla and tobacco. The body is medium. The wine has low acidity.

2018 Fantastic blend. Paso Robles sunshine coming through. This is a rich, fruit forward blend. Luscious now. I think it will be 10x better with some age. The blend is seamless bringing out the greatness of both grapes. 2020- 2nd bottle. 2 years later. This is a really good cab franc and merlot. Very strong and elegant

Wonderfully mature! Only minor bricking around the rim, deep color, med+ aroma, complexity and finish, acidity lower than optimal, but definitely NOT over the hill! Virtually no sediment in the bottle, none on the shoulders and very fine in the last pour.
