2/12/2024 - AP MD Likes this wine: 90 pointsDrank a glass poured from a freshly opened bottle at The Pied Piper restaurant bar in the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. I paired it with a great burger. I was thinking beer, but figured that visiting San Francisco, I owed it to myself to try the bar Cabernet! |

2/12/2024 - Rich S Likes this wine: 90 pointsDecanted for sediment. Delicious cassis and blackberry flavor with chocolate and toasty oak. The only issue with the wine is it is drinking on the soft side at this point and missing a bit of acidity and tannin for a wine of this caliber. I would be drinking up if holding any. |

1/13/2024 - John III Likes this wine: 92 pointsHad a couple glasses of this from a Rehoboam at my friend's 80th birthday party. It was smooth and lush, a nice example of how, if cellared correctly in large format bottles, some of these less flashy California cabs keep giving. Dominant notes were black cherry a dark chocolate. |

12/15/2023 - StBlGT Likes this wine: 92 pointsPnp. Very nice structure to this wine. Still having some grippy tannin, but after some air, they become more chalky. Pretty high acid. Notes of blackberries, black cherries, and a kiss of sweet vanilla. This isn't fruit forward by any means. There's an enjoyable earthiness to this wine too. Everything is in balance. For Napa, this is definitely one of the better QPR wines. I still think this has quite a bit of life remaining. Drink now - 2033. 92 points. |
