Banshee Wines Fall Release Party (The Common: San Francisco CA): I am not a frequent cab drinker but if more cabs were like this, that would change. Well balanced, perfect levels of fruit, oak, acid. Not at all heavy handed, this is welcoming and sexy.

Fantastic cab for this pinot lover. Blueberry, blackberry, Leather, olive, cassis, hint of oak, later on I got apricot, cherry, mushroom, dust. There was an initial burning heat but it blew off after a few hours in the decanter. Wonderful.

One of the best noses from non-burg chard I can remember. This surprised the heck out of me, ever evolving.
At first the nose was thick and buttery but that blew off, then came dusty stone and rock aromas, followed by green grass and petroleum.

The taste was good but not nearly as interesting as the nose. This one grew on me.

Melon, peach and vanilla nose. Fruit, tobacco and green grass flavors. If the nose hadn't been so fruity and sweet this could have been killer for me.

Vincent Morey White Burgundy Premiere Crus (Vin, Vino, Wine Palo Alto CA): Sweet fruity nose reminds me of the Hi-C fruit punch, I did not care for the nose. Tasted great though, delicate, slightly savory and some tobacco.
