5/17/2014 - mjwstickings wrote: 85 pointsGreat value, but not nearly as good a product as the excellent Porcupine Ridge Syrah; there are strong gooseberry aromas and flavours, and there's certainly some broad commercial appeal, but there's little else of note; a middling effort overall, lacking depth and complexity, not unpleasant but hardly memorable. |

1/10/2014 - pa81 Does not like this wine: NRVery grassy aroma. Sour grapefruit and grassy flavors. I didn't like this wine; aromas and flavor aren't my thing. (One guest who didn't taste this smelled it and it said it smelled like wet grass that a dog peed on -- sounds gross and harsh, but I see it...) |
