Palate was refined and medium bodied, with classic black and red fruits. Did not have the depth of fruit I expected from the vintage. Very dry finish.

Not impressive and not as good as the N.V. Blanc de Blancs. After seeing the price of this offering I am blown away at the lack of complexity for the price.

1/3/2013 7:12:00 AM - Sounds closed. Perhaps this will be much better off in another 5/10 years. This will be a superb wine, in time. I don't think this highlights the risk of 'buying' burgundy, rarther the risk of 'opening' burgundy at the wrong time.
