1/4/2024 - N.Bonaparte wrote: 92 points1st of 4. The first sip upon popping the cork was by far the best. I got a sense of what this will be before it shutdown. I then decanted for 1 hour which was not enough. This would benefit from as long of a decant as you can at this point. Anyways, the potential is superb. A ton of well judged fruit leads into a well balanced wine with a muted finish at this point. The dry extract dissipated throughout the evening. Probably 6-8 years out from its prime and then it should drink well for another 5-10 years. Revisit 2028 |

6/6/2022 - N.Bonaparte wrote: 93 pointsThis needs about an hour in the glass to open up. I would have guessed sauv blanc. This is extremely light and well balanced with a nice finish. This is a wine meant to be drank poolside or with sushi. Supply and demand dictates a high price but arguably this might be justified. Such a unique wine. This is already in its prime but will easily drink well for 5 more years. |

This was accessible after an hour in the decanter. This is reminiscent of the 18 and 14. This should reach prime in the next 3-5 years and last for 15. Great balance and finish. The 2nd label 2019 is the best second label yet. Cheers to the team at Zakin. |

Overall nice balance but lacking in complexity at this point. This will drink well for more than another decade. Should reach prime in about 5 years. Revisit 2026 |

11/22/2022 - N.Bonaparte wrote: 90 pointsPurchased this, the best cab at a wine shop on Eleuthera. Popped the cork 2 hours before and let sit in the glass for 30 min before. This is a bit thin but has decent balance. I don’t have much experience at this price point (thankfully) but priced appropriately and paired well with ribeye. I think these are ready to drink and will also drink well for another 5 years. |

I purchased 3 bottles of this and will give the other two away. On a positive note, Cosentino’s 2013 Mt Veeder cab is unreal and the best valued wine I bought on that trip. |

Great upside potential and should reach its prime in 10 years. This would benefit from an overnight decant at this point. I’d recommend 20-24 hours of decanting at this point. Very well made and enjoyable wine. |

Despite the high alcohol, there’s no heat detected and the balance is pure with a nice finish. Overall a very nice wine that is in its prime and will hold for another 4-5 years. Good value, that will please just about anyone. |
