A real kitchen-sink kind of rosé with a gorgeous bubblegum color and notes of wild strawberry, rhubarb, and a touch of watermelon. The palate is fruity, but certainly on the subtle side with a near-perfect level of tartness and a mouth-coating aspect that helps maintain the finish for longer than most wines (and not just rosés). For a winery that produces $100+ wines, this beauty, that you likely will find on the shelves for under $20, is a steal. |

Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of fresh strawberries, cranberries & citrus notes of lemons & limes, spices & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present although this one might develop more complexity with another year of additional aging. An indicative blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot. An absolutely wonderful & enjoyable Rose. |

The 2017 hasn't done it for us in the same way as its thinner, crisper, and less "big." But we had purchased a 3L bottle and enjoyed it tonight with friends. I'd stil call it less than last year's but this was a a very solid, if not spectacular, wine. Fun times. |
