I'm both perplexed and in awe…
This is a tannic beast with deep fruit, transparency with mineral qualities and … a … Beaujolais Nouveau.
Not at all raspberry cordial or a watered down, faceless berry junkie. This is a real wine in the best possible way!

Jag är gruvligt imponerad av detta vin!
Öga: Svartrött.
Näsa: Stor, imponerande doft av lila doft av irion (viol), mörka bär och en slags mineralisk kryddighet.
Gom: M+ fylligt (!) vackert vin med M++ tanniner. Inget picknickvin - det här är reda godis för nördar! Ett seriöst vin med umpa-umpa! M+ långt och över förväntan komplext...
Trodde att turkiska Asmadan Winery's Gamay var unik, men denna Bojo Nouveau är en solklar själsfrände till Asmadan's Gamay.
Djupt imponerad av ett vin jag redan dissat och öppnade, med 100% förväntan att vaska det... Äter gladeligen mängder av ödmjukhetspaj :-)

This is a fantastic PG that I'd be only too happy to drink over again for the next 5-7 years.
A golden colour that draws ever so slightly towards red/orange hues.
The nose is a happy, summer wine with also deeper, and more serious, notes of yellow fruits, deep summer forest and trocadero.
In the mouth, the acidic balance with the fruit is to die for! Merveilleux! This is very young, yet with gravitas and presence.

Color: Light gold.
Nose: A fascinating bouquet of pear, "yellow flowers", and lemon curd. A hint of jasmine and that special scent of warm stones.
Palate: The wine is exceptionally delicate with beautiful acidity and that transparent architecture I adore in my young whites. It's brimming over with flavours of ripe lemon, chalk, white pepper, and juicy pears. The freshness of the citrus (lemon, lime, and kabosu) is balanced by an angular fruitiness. The wine finishes with balanced acidity and is moderately long. It doesn't resemble my image of Albariño. However, since 2011, this is only my fifth meeting with the grape, so I'm definitely not the guy you'd like to have as a lifeline...
The wine is light yet rich, and the acids are delightfully refreshing. Surprisingly similar to a better Muscadet in structure, style, and character.
Bodega Garzón is aqpparently known for innovation combined with traditional winemaking methods. It's said that they create wines that let the grape's character dominate while striving to create a unique personality for each wine. (Ever heard that one before?) Regardless, this is an extremely well-made white wine!
I can really recommend this winemaker after having drunk three Albariños, a Tannat, and a bottle of Viognier. Viognier is a grape I rarely get along with. However, from Garzón, it was an unperfumed caress with good acids...
As a winemaker in one of the 40 countries I'm trying to drink good wines from in 2024, Garzón gets commendably high marks.

Has everything in place for tight pleasures and richesse.
...except tannins and a fabulous build.
But, today is a gray everyday, so it's perfectly fine 😜
Truth be told: I see this wine again, imma ganna procure!

Not a big fan of Viognier as the acidity tends to be too low and the old-lady-perfume tends to be too high.
But this wine is beautifully made. A sensitive, mild, transparent wine with enough acidity to not feel like flapp-flapp in your mouth.
Kudos to the maker of one of the few Viognier wines I ever enjoyed :-)

This is really interesting!
I misplaced the last glass in the "sweet wine section", worked hard, went to Europe for a few weeks and… One month later rediscovered this bottle that had one glass left in it, with the original corked lightly plugged in and kept in room temperature.
It was with large amount of skepticism I even smelled it.
But lo and behold!
This is still fruity, intense and even more nuanced than before.
WOW!
I suppose one conclusion is that we’re all drinking this nectar faaar too early. Another conclusion may be that this wine is one of exceptional quality.
I will get more. And the next Pieropan I plop, I will keep the last glass for a month. Out of curiosity. And see what happens.

I love this wine!
Light yellow.
A fruity-flowery bold aroma palette dominated by Tutti Frutti pastilles (an orange- and mandarin-rich fruity composition with flowers from the orange tree and jasmine overtones).
In the mouth it gives a viscous feeling, that's how rich this is. Dense and also perfectly balanced. This wine is serious and made for fine dining, not saying that it can't also be enjoyed as a piquenique wine. Acidity to live for! Complex in the fruity register.
The richest Soave I ever enjoyed (I still have less than 50 Soaves under my belt), and I expect even more from Pieropan's Calvarino and La Rocca that I will enjoy shortly.
The small rainfall of the 2022 season and extreme heat in August in combination with excellent wine-making skills, has produced an amazing entry-level Soave.
Saving the last glass for tomorrow or the day after.
Dirt cheap, even in Japan!

My first Loire wine from the 2022 vintage.
A medium good Sancerre (meaning it's significant) that is beautiful.
At a bargain price!
Nose is very young and Sb is held in tight reins. (Goose berry, lime, kabosu, grass and that particular "sweetness" that Sancerre wines so often express and simply means: Ample sunshine but restrained heat.
In the mouth! Woah! Acidic like a Muscadet. A beautiful transparent build resting on several types of citrus (sudachi, kabosu and dekopon) and delivers an open window to enjoy this wine's beautiful minerality. This is electric. Mjuff!
At a marvellous QPR, I'm very happy to have two more.
This will probably not render itself well to lengthy keeping as its youthful nerve may be all it's got...
2 btls to go, next one in 2024.

Not a big fan of this crisp, linear style of PG.
Aleays strikes me as hollow.
In this particular specimen, the lack of marrow makes the acidity feel un-matched.
Happy aromas towards 'Tivoli yeast', newly harvested grape juice and a short finish.
I would never pick this as a Pinot gris in a blind tasting. More like a cheap wine-box.
Qualified for the TV show: The price isn't right.

The initial sip might strike one as overly acidic, but as the evening progresses, the intricate nuances of this impeccably pure Riesling unfurl. Blind tasting would defy any guess that it originates from Australia. Its razor-sharp precision promises significant aging potential. For the first time, I've secured more than two bottles, with the hope that at least a pair can be cellared for a minimum of five years.

Happy nose and a fruity tivoli that is really delicious and easy-gulping.
...but not really a wine, very much manufactured like a summer rosé.

Light yellow, watery colour.
Rich, beautiful aroma profile that immediately brought me to Frascati.
My backup guess was an unusual Soave.
But definitely Italian.
And… 100% Chardonnay.
No, not on any chart anywhere!
Nose: deep, citrussy, flowery, summery with a herbal twist. (Just like a better Frascati…)
Mouth: light, summery white wine with grass, herbal qualities, but short and without intensity. Perfect for summer quenching and happiness! A young happy white of small consequence.
I was rather surprised when I was told that it was a 100% Chardonnay. Re-tasting it, I still couldn’t find a single Chard-note other than the small citrus on the nose…
Not a big wine, but an amazingly happy play with one of the most overgrown grapes of all time.
Would happily drink this juice on any hot summer's day!

This is not much of a wine, but lovely to enjoy a glass of this happy friend.
Light yellow.
Small indescript nose.
In the mouth this is a small wine, but balanced and delicious. Citrussy M++ acidity and a muddy mineral character, a tiny hint of petrochem and a small pirouette of a bitter pang in the endgame.
Amazing for the price, but nothing to look out for.
