12,5%. This is in fact non-vintage Saten, disgorged in 2009. One of my favourite wines from this producer. Sophisticated aromas of peaches and citruses, has more of an appeal of a beautiful still white wine. Balanced and graceful, with a lingering finish of peaches and minerals. Tasted at home.

12,5% alc. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Most generous and persistent mousse of all prestige cuvees tasted in this session and finest bubbles, this champagne shimmers rather than sparkles. Acacia honey and candied quince with light ginger notes on the nose which is pure, fresh, deep and perfectly composed. Firm and dense on the palate, honeyed and biscuity, creamy texture, fresh integrated acidity, gentle yet powerful. Great volume. Lingering finish with mineral and ginger nuances. Very consistent in aromas and flavours from start to finish. Loads of personality. Tasted at home
