Good, nicely knit soft tannins, ripe fruit, well developed, a little dusty, I don't know how else to describe it. A good, medium-long finish to it. Medium body, well constructed, refined tannins, the usual red fruit with a hint of cherry, I thought. I don't see this getting better, I think we're at its apogee now. A very pleasant bottle, what Bordeaux is (or should be) all about. |
