No butter notes here, the fruit is a combination of citrus and stonefruit realms and there is just enough oak (and light butterscotch) to let you know this is a chardonnay. Some concentration, great balance, nice acidity, harmonious, elegance too. The great 2020 vintage helps too no doubt. Nice now, but this should improve in the short to medium term. Well done, glad I have more (A-). |
