Tannins are still noticeable and needs some airtime to smooth and integrate. Lovely! Purchased from Wine Slash for $59. If I could find it at or around the price I would definitely purchase more. Good aging potential. |

On the pallete the wine delivers big with a fresh young cherry fruit driven start. At the mid palette the wine turns creamy with a tinge of slightly sharper edged cranberry fruit. The finish is heated and reminds you that this is no simple cabernet. An evolving wine that is Enjoyable but yong. Wait 3-5 years for resolution of the sharp edges. |

I didn’t know much then, but oh boy did this one become a star tonight. Dark fruit, subdued tannin, incredible savory notes. Far better than the first bottle I consumed a decade ago. Well-balanced on the palate . Medium + mouthfeel , medium - acidity . Tannins are mostly resolved. Long finish . I am sure this wine will continue to age gracefully , but it is showing well right now. |

Medium + finish. This wine, with its strong backbone of acidity strikes me as still too young to drink, even after 6 years. I’m planning on cellaring the rest for at least a couple more years. |

I think it’s nearing the end of its drinking window. Medium body, very smooth out of the bottle. Good dark color. Blackberry on the nose and a very slight peppery note. Drank on New Year’s Day with Black Eyed Soup. Good drinking wine. After letting it sit for 30 minutes, got more pepper and balanced out nicely. |
