Pnp. Just ok as compared to previous bottles - to me this is at peak or just past its peak. No better on day 2. Drink up.

Drinking well with about 20 minutes of air. Good fruit presence, oak treatment very present but no over the top for my palate. Good wine for the money.

Pnp, but needs some air before showing well. Really good on day 2, stored with vacuvin pump, with about half bottle left.

Drank it Pnp and though it was a bit tight, it softened after some time in the glass and open bottle. I would suggest a short decant if opening in the near future though. Drinking well, but not quite as good as other vintages of the Myriad NV IMO.

Pnp. On the nose, floral components jump out of the glass, light vanilla, cherry blueberry. On the palate, anise, vanilla, cherry raspberry. Great finish that is fruit driven. 10 year old Robert Craig drinking well right now.

Decanted two hours. Already good at pnp. But after 2 hours, wow! Just singing. So much going on.

Nose: Ripe red fruit, baking spice, a touch of earthiness and funk
Palate: ripe raspberry, tangy cherry, touch of blackberry, finish goes on and on and on for 30 seconds. As it got more air, cranberry notes interwoven with the other flavors.

This is a well made wine in a more restrained style, but done so well. Wow. Just great stuff.

PNP. Blueberry predominant, baking spice, maybe hints of red fruit, Asian spice.

Pomegranate, unripe raspberry, blueberry on the palate. Definitely at its peak, with tertiary flavors of coffee, smoke, with some cranberry on the finish. Great at 13 years old. Finish is still 20 seconds long. Great mountain fruit!

Not sure I would wait too much longer on this one though. Definitely at its peak now. Have a half bottle left from last night - looking forward to seeing how it held up with dinner tonight. Cheers!

PNP (don’t think Longhorn Steakhouse has a decanter…lol). Nice dose of oak treatment (vanilla) on the nose, sweet cherries. Palate is red fruit predominant - ripe raspberry, underripe cherry. Nice finish though still some tannins present. Drinking really well if you enjoy a good new world cabernet. Another nice wine (albeit entry level) from Mike Smith. Paired well with a “Flo’s filet”. Cheers!

Pnp for one glass on night 1. Not much air needed - maybe 15 minutes and this was drinking very well. Oak perfectly integrated. Still some good fruit on this.

Night 2 was a similar experience.

Overall, a real treat to drink this bottle with 11 years age. One more bottle in the cellar for a year or two down the road. However, I do think its at maturity now.

Popped and poured. Expressive nose. Red and blue fruits predominant. On the palate, this is like a battle between cranberry and bing cherry, each alternating to be the dominant flavor. Medium plus acidity. Oak treatment is noticeable but balanced. Finishes with a touch of orange peel and some white pepper. An enjoyable wine, though as midtownmac noted, hard to find a lot of Syrah notes at this time (still a young wine though).

Palate: raspberry, pomegranate, long finish with an amazing mouthfeel.

Drinking really well right now, and I think it’s at its peak.

Popped and let breathe for about an hour before serving at cellar temp. A bit tight after the hour mark. Blackberry, and blueberry on the nose. Fruit forward on the initial entry with blackberry at the forefront. Tails off at the back end for the first hour or so.

After about 2 hours of air, this really came into its own, getting better and better throughout the night, becoming more expressive with more fruit presence and a longer finish. The Robert Craig 13's I have drank really need a good amount of air time to get to a good spot. Really enjoyed this at the end of the night.

Popped and let breathe about an hour before serving at cellar temp. Really amazing and expressive nose, with cherry, baking spice, hint of nutmeg, and pomegranate. The palate, still some tannin that resolved after a little more air time, but much of the same on the palate as the nose in terms of fruit. This was gushing with juicy cherry and raspberry fruit with a long finish. This is the type of experience that makes the patience of cellaring wine so worth it!

Drinking well with a 45 minute decant, though if you like less fruit and more secondary notes, let it sit in a decanter for 2 - 3 hours. Really nice wine, especially for the price point.

Decanted for 1.5 hours and it needed about 4 hours before it really started hitting its stride. Significant tannin hid the fruit until about the 4 hour mark. Delicious wine though, but I would hold for a few more years and if opening now, a longer decant is necessary IMO.

Pop and let breathe in bottle, but I drank a glass of this when I opened the bottle. Fruit was front and center. After a few hours of air time, this gained weight and the acid took over the fruit. I preferred this as pop and pour right now - after the air time, it was not as good IMO. Interesting to see the progression of this wine. I have 5 more, so curious where this will go.

Opened and tasted right away. At first the acid and tannins in this wine were front and center, and were bullying the fruit to the point where it was hiding. Cranberry, sour strawberry. So I threw it into a decanter for about an hour. After the hour, it was a great pairing for a grilled prime NY Strip. After dinner though, the fruit came to the forefront as this mellowed out a bit. Really interesting to taste this over a 4 hour period. My suggestion is to decant this wine for 1.5 to 2 hours before drinking.
