I have been disappointed before by some 2000 Napa Cabs being green but this wine is just SINGING. Fully ripe, sweet cassis, mocha, with some great earthy flavors. Really happy with this wine, especially b/c I have a 1999 left to open. A little heat left that may indicate this wine could have gone even longer in the bottle. (74 views)

More showing now than what I've tasted in the past. Really ripe plums on the nose with some underlying white pepper. Taste really ripe red fruits. There is some heat here but the best part of the wine (IMHO) is the tannins. Really nice mouth feel. (104 views)
