Pretty typical but a little thin, watery? Shy but still good. A little expensive for what it offers.

Color cereza intenso, ribete violáceo, capa media-alta y gruesa lágrima lenta y algo tintada.

Color Intense cherry, violet rim, medium-high, thick and slightly tinted tear slowly. Aromas of ripe fruit (predominantly fruits of the forest), marked toasted oak still polishing a little more but they already are integrated into the whole, stands an intense range of spices (black pepper, paprika with some nail ), balsamic (eucalyptus) with slight aniseed touches, soft memories of straw and wet leather, touches of litter and soil background that gives certain rusticity. A good entrance says astringency, however, does not disturb, tasty, good structure, ripe fruit, good acidity, roasted still present, is drinking well but has enough power, bitter, large and persistent. Final long aftertaste of ripe fruit and smoky aftertaste.

Not my style, too much sugar. Blackberries and vanilla.

Strawberry, raspberry, tobacco, mineral, complex flavors change as you swallowing down. Medium finish. Prefer 2012 vintage over 2013

Mums

The color is dark ruby red and relatively close in color. The aroma has dark berries, vanilla and a little spice. The taste is medium strong, slightly sweet, soft tannins and not much acid. Pleasant flavors of black currant and other dark berries. Good wine with or without food. mums

Phew pinot noir that is anything but pinot noir!
    A dark almost inky.
A nose candy and chemical, cola and 2X4!
On the palate, sweet and flabby, a glass is more than enough ... or Pinot is excessive makeup? Really all wrong as Pinot!
Charmer: yes, saturating yes, well done: NO ... without interest!

Needed a cab for the garden 'maters spaghetti sauce. Decanted for at least 2 hours. In the glass: Deep inky garnet, tiny bit of browning, thin long legs. On the nose: Wet pavement, minerals, with a swirl it reveals some light black cherry, currants, raspberry, whiff of meat. In the mouth: light/med mouth feel, Thin concentration of sweet/tart red fruit, lacking in the mid palate, no tannins to speak of, some heat pokes through in the light finish. NOT a typical California cab. Its not bad, but its not good either. Meh, its ok for spaghetti sauce, but I would have liked a more meaty cab!

Bocca elegante, rigorosa, tannini perfettamente integrati e superbo bilanciamento

6/5/2013 6:18:00 PM - Google Translate: Impenetrable garnet with ruby flashes. The attack on the nose is still very fruity (blueberry, blackberry, plum) then emerge tertiary notes of cigar box, cedar, mint and cocoa. Mouth elegant, rigorous, perfectly integrated tannins and superb balance

PopnPour through the vinturi, left in the glass 1/2 hour. In the glass: Deep garnet, long legs. On the nose: Initially kinda tight, charcoal, minerals, dark fruits. Opened up to tart cherries, smoke, whiff of lavender and spice. In the mouth: Medium mouth feel, good concentration of sweet/tart cherries, some alcohol heat pokes through, dry tannin bite, tart cherries and light spice down the throat. Initially this had a weenzy bit of bitter on the finish, but that seems to be softening with some air. I would suggest decanting this to give it time to breathe. Could lay down for a few more years to integrate.

4/11/2013 11:34:00 PM - I recognize that this is early in its lifespan, but every wine is different. Some drink well early and right out of the bottle and some take many, many years to peak. There is no hard and fast rule on when a wine is ready. This particular 2011 vintage may be a bit youthful, but with some air time, it drinks fine now. Since I have several bottles, I will revisit my notes.

I'm not a fan of a woody Chardonnay, so this was a stellar bottle! In the glass: clear bright yellow. On the nose: Mineral, light, sweet. In the mouth: light body, Crisp, acidic, with residual sweetness on tongue. Not at hint of woodiness and an easy drinker right out of the bottle. Would be especially nice with any light fare like fish or salad. I would buy it again if available and I don't normally like whites. :)
