Opened with serious funk. Like burnt nuts and rubber. Almost dumped it. Decanted and left alone, it blossomed to reveal sherry notes, nuts and viscous palate with lemon and honey. Vibrant acidity. In some ways, tastes like it was recently bottled. These things go on and on...
2/23/2015 2:50:00 PM - I don't remember, but it was more than a few minutes. It was consumed over the course of the night. Don't give up on it. They just need lots of air.And you have to kind of enjoy that slightly sherried/oxidative note.
