The smells are honey, hazelnut, butter, flowers, and yeasty aromas. The tastes are apple, pear, lime, ginger, honey, butterscotch, toast, with light shades of salinity. The mouth feel is creamy, weighty and the acidity is zingy. The finish is lengthy and the bubbles seem to sizzle on the palate. This wine is hedonistic and offers great value.

The aromas are raspberry, cinnamon, cherry, flowers, light pepper, red licorice candy. The tastes are cherry, sweet spice, cinnamon, raspberry, sweet vanilla, and hints of earth. The finish was sweet and delicious and the tannins were dusty fine and ripe. Medium weight on the palate and the acidity was notable and good.
